Cookware can occasionally become distorted due to thermal shock, which occurs when a pan experiences a rapid change in temperature.
Thermal shock is not necessarily caused by excessive heat. It can occur when hot cookware is exposed to cold water, moved suddenly between hot and cold environments, or subjected to significant temperature fluctuations.
Clad cookware is constructed from multiple bonded layers of different metals, typically stainless steel and aluminium. Because these materials expand and contract at slightly different rates, sudden temperature changes can place stress on the bonded layers. Over time, this may lead to distortion or warping, even if the cookware has not been overheated.
If you believe your cookware may have developed a manufacturing defect, our team will be happy to assess it. Please submit photographs through our warranty portal, and if required, we may request the opportunity to inspect the cookware in person.
