Copper naturally reacts to heat, air, and moisture, so some discolouration or tarnishing is completely normal with use. Many owners appreciate the character and patina that develops over time, but if you prefer to restore the original shine, this can be done easily with the appropriate copper cleaner.
Please use one of these tried and tested copper-only cleaning methods:
EU: Use Sidol copper cleaner. Apply to the copper surface, polish gently, then wash with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
UK: Use Brasso 7 Metal Cleaner. Apply to the copper surface, polish until the shine is restored, then wash with warm soapy water and dry completely.
Important:
- These cleaning methods are for copper surfaces only.
- Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, or harsh cleaning chemicals.
- Always ensure the cookware is completely dry before storing.
- CopperBond® cookware should be hand washed only to maintain the appearance of the copper exterior.
